Trying to get OpenStack running to find out if it can be useful for us.

I decided to go with the Ubuntu distribution of OpenStack. In order to get started very quickly I'll try to run Juju in a VM and use that to spool some VM's for the different OpenStack components. In the future I'd like to use MAAS (Metal As A Service) as well, in order to automatically deploy stuff onto physical hardware.

  • KVM works on confusion and I can connect to it with virt-manager.
