What

PirateBox is a self-contained mobile communication and file sharing device. Simply turn it on to transform any space into a free and open communications and file sharing network.

  • 16gb supershort USBstick
  • TP-Link WR703N router
  • Choiix 1500mAh battery

Why

I have needed this quite often.

Which

Basically, just install openwrt (dont forget to wipe all previous settings!!! rm -r /overlay/*), grab the 0.6 piratebox opkg package from above url and install it. Reboot, and done.
