Nice little Atom-based machine. Should be running SpaceBot and related software. Physically located in the 19" rack.

  • Debian installed
  • JDK upgraded to OpenJDK 1.6.0_18
  • jboss-as 7.1.1 installed

Also runs two non-space-related bots: brulbot and beslisbot

Next steps:

  • create enterprise application
  • use JEE scheduling annotations to schedule getting space status json
  • dump status in rrd with rrd4j
  • create graphs for temperature/lightlevel and a heatmap for space open/closed

Far in the future:

  • create a space status application with web interface
  • migrate spacebot
