This is a small-ish project to hookup a ESP with WS2812 ledstrip to a optocoupler interfaced with a hdd-led connection on a motherboard.

Components

  • wemos d1 mini (i actually used a wemos d1 pro, but there's no need for this)
  • optocoupler MCT2E
  • piece of WS2812 ledstrip
  • molex connector for 5V from PSU
