What
A small automated greenhouse to grow plants in. Current size is 47x47x88cm (bit smaller inside because of the lights etc). I intended to put it on top of a desk, but currently its on my floor.
Parts
- ESP8266 (nodemcu v0.9 module)
- two relay breakout board ebay
- 5v 1A AC PSU
- 20W 230V COB Full Spectrum LED ebay
- a 120mm fan + a 12v 300mA AC PSU
- a esp32-cam board with a USB wallwart
- parts of a shelf system for the frame
- mylar sheet (emergency blanket) and bubblewrap as 'tent' materials
- some powercables to cut up
Still to be added:
- capacitive soil sensor (this will need a ADC better than the ESP8266 has) ebay
- waterpump. tubing, some watercontainer
- temperature and humidity sensor
