aetios has brought a Yamaha PSS 680 to the space and he wants to add a direct output to the FM chip in this synthesizer. He has no idea about electronics but luckily a cool guy on youtube has made a complete rundown of his version of the mod:

This seems alright to do.
Materials needed:
- transformator for isolating ground
- shielded instrument cable
- a jack socket
- some 100 ohm resistors
tools required:
- soldering iron
- hole drill
Patch point were verified and seem to work.
previously: one end of a shielded instrument cable is now soldered to the patch points.
Current status: a small audio transformer block has been installed and an output jack socket has been installed. It works! But there is a 50Hz buzz.
The solution is to ground the jack plug. This will be a next step for this project.
