In Cura, for manipulating new STL files:
- Set Print Speed to 40 mm/s
- Printing Temp to 185
- Bed Temp to 62
- Wall Thickness some multiple of 0.5
- Filament Diameter to 2.94
- Packing Density to 1.00
- Nozzle Size to 0.485
- Retraction Minimum Travel to 2 mm
- Retraction Speed to 40
- Retraction distance to 3
- Travel Speed to 120 mm/s
- Max Z Speed to 3
- Bottom Layer Speed to 20
- Cooling Minimum Time to 10
- Enable Cooling Fan
- Initial Layer Thickness to 0
Start G-code should look something like this:
- G21 ;metric values
- G90 ;absolute positioning
- M107 ;start with the fan off
- G28 X0 Y0 ;move X/Y to min endstops
- G28 Z0 ;move Z to min endstops
- G92 X0 Y0 Z0 E0 ;reset software position to front/left/z=0.0
- G1 Z0.0 F{max_z_speed} ;Move NOWHERE at max Z speed
