Introduction
This is a beginning entry dedicated to the light setup in Diedenoort-NURDSpace. Original configuration: The three wall switches by the front door operate, from left to right: The ventilation The right-hand bank of lights (with back to door) including the 3 on the hook around the corner The left hand bank of lights
Current configuration
- The left hand switch is for the single emergency light on the left closest to the door.
- The right hand switch does nothing.
- The fluorescent bulbs are connected together into 4 groups:
- The 6 in the dead centre of the space
- The 3 over the desks at the far windows
- The 2 over the printer desks
- The 5 closest to the door, on the near side of the I-beam, excluding the emergency light.
These 4 channels are plugged into the lighting controller suspended in a white iron grid from the ceiling. This is plugged into a ceiling socket on a ? electrical group.
DMX
The DMX devices are currently configured as follows:
- Controller: Lanbox currently underneath the Lack by the yellow pipe.
- Channels 1-4: The small 4x controller on the desks at the far windows
- Channels 5-8: The strobe lamp
- Channels 9-12: The main fluorescent bulb controller
- Channels 32-34: The RGB LED lamp (1) on the top of the yellow pipe
- Channels 35-37: The RGB LED lamp (2) on the middle of the yellow pipe
- Channels 38-40: The RGB LED lamp (3) on the wall around the corner
- Channels 41-43: The RGB LED lamp (4) on the right on the pipes at the far windows
- Channels 44-46: The RGB LED lamp (5) on the left on the pipes at the far windows
- Channels 47-49: The RGB LED lamp (6) on the left hand wall.
The DMX cable is wired in the following sequence:
- Lanbox
- Strobe
- RGB1
- RGB2
- RGB3
- (5-->3 conversion)
- (3-->5 conversion)
- RGB4
- (5-->3 conversion)
- Small 4x controller
- Fluorescent controller
- (3-->5 conversion)
- RGB5
- RGB6
- A 120 ohm resistor is used as termination between pins 2 and 3.
