Tried to make a 3S cell, its currently charging. Not sure how well this is going to feed the many amps required ;)

--buZz (talk) 00:05, 27 May 2015 (CEST)

Added lights \o/ Yay NURDLed

Some maff for max speed;

(((22.2*280)/(44/16)*(90*3.1415))/1000/1000)*60=38.34503476363636363620
22.2 = nominal voltage
280 = 280kv motor
44 = wheel pulley
16 = motor pulley
90 = wheel diameter in mm

Made the mount smaller and firmer.

Been trying out a mount and pulleys and the belt. Results thusfar;

This looks very promising!

Belts arrived \o/

Ordered ESC and programming card.

Should arrive in a couple of days.

Used http://www.bbman.com/catalog/belt-length-calculator.html to calculate the center distances. Got to these results thusfar;

12/40 with 270mm gets 66.3
16/40 with 270mm gets 62.1
16/44 with 270mm gets 55.6
12/40 with 295mm gets 79.4
12/44 with 295mm gets 73.1
15/40 with 295mm gets 76.2
15/44 with 295mm gets 70.0
16/44 with 295mm gets 68.9

Ordered belts \o/ 270 and 295mm in size , 15mm wide, from beltingonline.com, should be here in a week :)

Worked on motormount attempt today, released results already on http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:804463

Gotta go mess around with;

--buZz (talk) 16:45, 29 April 2015 (CEST)

Ok, sad, don't see anything on i2c :/ Maybe I should have tested this nunchuk a bit more...

--buZz (talk) 04:21, 26 April 2015 (CEST)

Modding the wii nunchuk receiver onto a 'arduino pro mini' board with a 3.3V regulator combined.

Also adding a i2c breakout (for future addition?) and ~something for WS2812 output.

So, i've started a buildlog here to keep track of order etc.

Mounted the pulley today, and, as i suspected i need longer M5 bolts. About 70mm should do. So, need to grab some of those soon.

Looks and feels proper enough, so will be ordering a HTD belt soon. Need to find a 280/290 5M 15MM HTD belt, any leads? :)

Also, remember to grab this for front pulley; http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:16627

Just some links

Calc center distance of pulleys:

Came to about 5.5 to 7.5cm distance, will need to redo when i know actual belt size etc

Printable???

Let's try this :)
