I have always had a big interest in laser technology and while i have a modest understanding of the technology I have never really build anything laser-related.

tasks :

-Read more about laser drivers and how to build them -Find good all round design for a driver or investigate building multiple models for the diodes collected. -Find out if drivers can be salvaged from dvd burners -Reassemble laser projector components on a board

In allot of experiments it wont be needed to work with a visible laser so I intent to shield most of the set-up in such away that usual risks for eyes will be minimized.
