Non-University Related Development space (NURDs)
We are working towards setting up a hackerspace in Wageningen. Currently we are scouting for a location, more members and funding. In the mean time we would like to meet and talk about our plans on a regular base. Everyone is welcome to join! Our next meeting is on 30-09--2011
A hackerspace is a community-operated physical places, where people can meet and work on projects. Or, according to Wikipedia: A location where people with common interests, usually in computers, technology, science, or digital or electronic art can meet, socialise and/or collaborate. Hackerspaces can be viewed as open community labs incorporating elements of machine shops, workshops and/or studios where hackers can come together to share resources and knowledge to build and make things.
