Buildblog
So, spent yesterday fixing up my Stellaris toolchain and starting to write some code for it. I now have Xbee and Rotary Encoder working on the Stellaris end.
Today I've been breaking my head over PS/2 protocol, and as a distraction soldered up a little shield for the Stellaris :D
How
Just a sketch and mockup of the 'instrument' idea;
From left to right, touchpad, rotary encoder, led matrix
Why
Earlier I had made a touchpad-midicontroller of sorts, see;
This project is the reinvention/redo/rewind of that project.

What
- TI Stellaris Launchpad
- xbee data connection sending near-raw MIDI , other end is normal usbmidi, see http://www.ladyada.net/make/xbee/midibee.html
- battery powered
- found a Teensy 2.0, so might make the 'pc side' real, proper, hardware USBmidi with this...
- ps2 touchpad for data input
- led matrix for data output
- rotary encoder(?) for extra datainput / mode switching
- wristframe? or instrument ...
